Scarborough, North Yorkshire, it’s Saturday and over 20 degrees, there are people in the sea.
But down on the beach it’s not all donkey rides and ice cream, Scarborough has a surf scene (there are lessons) and it also has a burgeoning back-street art scene, just waiting to burst out – old closed shops being given a new lease of life and some that have been there for decades, still clinging on.
