The great British seaside isn’t all sunshine and ice cream, especially in the off-est part of the off season. But a bit of light drizzle can be good for the persistent photographer. It flattens the colours and keeps the trippers away, or at least indoors.
It’s a shame, however, that the little rowing boat ferry isn’t running – usually the best two quid you’ve ever spent – as it means an extra kilometre through mud to get to the other side.
